You spoke, and we listened! The navigation menu in the Spacelift platform just got a huge upgrade. Was it hard to find what you were looking for in the last version? Not really. But, it could definitely have been a bit easier to find exactly what you are looking for, or understand what some of the services were even for.

Now, instead of having all of the menu items in a single long list, we have collapsed them all into easier to browse groups:

New groupings, and where you can find each service:

• Dashboard, Notifications → Get Insights

• Stacks, Resources, Runs → Ship Infra

• Registry, Contexts, Blueprints → Share Code & Config

• Spaces, Policies → Enforce Guardrails

• Discover All → Integrate Services

• Billing & Usage, Worker Pools, Audit Trail, Settings → Manage Organization

• Intent Projects → Try New Features

Keep checking back in the “Try New Features” section for all the cool new things we have coming out. And don’t forget the best part of this update. We know that a lot of Spacelift users don’t use all of the services inside the platform. They usually only need a subset of the services based on their role or responsibility. What did we do to help this? We introduced Pinning. You can take your most needed services, pin them, and access them easily from a single custom service group.

We hope that this update will help users of all roles and levels to better navigate Spacelift.

With all that said, we can’t wait for you to use the new navigation experience! We’re rolling it out to all Spacelift users, so be on the lookout and let us know what you think when you get it!
