Allow selecting folders without selecting its children
Sometimes I want to see things (stacks, policies, whatever) in the root space, but selecting the root space in the “Spaces” filter also includes all its children. For the root space, that literally filters nothing (since everything is a child of the root space).

Agreed. It is frustrating to not be able to use filtering to look at a specific level of one’s spaces hierarchy (e.g., the management artifacts) without also seeing all of the child items (i.e., clients). This is common functionality in other tree-view selection widgets and thus is surprising to find missing here. Perhaps it is just a widget property that needs to be set to enable the desired behavior.

Indeed. The fairly common behavior of multiple successive clicks on the checkbox I think would work well: click once for “only this level”, then again for “all children”, then again for “off”
