Allow setting custom EBS volume throughput for erraform-aws-spacelift-workerpool-on-ec2

We’re having some issues with our workers dying, and after investigation, it seems to be related to hitting the throughput limit on our workers’ EBS volume. To confirm, I manually increased throughput on one workers’ volume, ran the problematic Terraform plan again, and noticed an improvement in related disk metrics.

However, terraform-aws-spacelift-workerpool-on-ec2 doesn’t allow setting a custom EBS volume throughput. Can that be added?

    Thanks for the detailed report and for already testing the solution manually. You're absolutely right - the terraform-aws-spacelift-workerpool-on-ec2 module doesn't currently expose EBS throughput settings.

    This is a valid enhancement request. Workers processing large Terraform plans or moving significant amounts of data can definitely hit EBS throughput limits, especially on smaller volume types with baseline throughput.

    For now, your workaround of forking the module is the right approach. When setting throughput, make sure you're staying within the limits for your volume type to avoid AWS API errors.

    I’ll pass that to the engineering team to take a look, and will keep you posted :)
