Hey @Geoff Webster, thanks for the request! I understand that using channel IDs might be a bit cumbersome, but we believe it makes sense from the security perspective. You can always change channel names, but IDs stay. You could not only break policies by changing names, but also leak sth sensitive to a channel by accident. So I’m afraid we have to reject that, hope you understand.
