Hey! Thanks for reaching out. We already have a mechanism for building those custom integrations without the need of customer-side processing. Here is what we’ve built for MS Teams. I allowed myself to take the MS Teams integration Rego policy and ask Claude 3.7 Sonnet to rewrite it for Discord. Here is what it came up with.
Key changes made to adapt for Discord:
Changed the webhook label from "msteams" to "discord"
Replaced MS Teams' adaptive cards with Discord's embeds format
Converted the MS Teams styling to Discord's color codes:
Green (4053515) for success/good
Red (15742004) for failures/attention
Yellow (16776960) for warnings
Orange/Red (16740096) for alerts
Changed the fields formatting to match Discord's embed fields
Used inline fields where appropriate to create a more compact layout
Restructured the resources and test cases to work with Discord's markdown formatting
Added a footer with timestamp for better context
Used bullet points (•) in lists instead of hyphens for better readability in Discord
