While we can create approval policies today, the end-user experience is extremely limited. Right now, engineers get a basic "policy undecided" message with zero context. This creates confusion and slows down workflows.
Ability to display clear messages inside the UI during approvals (e.g. “Missing ticket ref,” “Pending security review”)
UI support for custom error/warning messages on policy rejection or approval
Optional ability to include remediation steps or link
Current Pain:
Users only see the name of the policy—no explanation of why something was blocked.
This creates unnecessary Slack threads or approvals that are rubber-stamped without understanding.
Enable us to guide users through approvals with context-rich feedback. It makes policies educational, not just restrictive
