Increase blueprint max stack dependencies

I have a workflow that deploys a virtual machine via terraform and runs ~10-15 separate ansible playbooks for post configuration management. I can only in one blueprint create a maximum of 5 stack dependencies (meaning one terraform stack and max 4 ansible playbook stacks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback! While we don't have plans for now to raise the stack limit within Blueprints specifically, we recently introduced Templates, which support up to 10 stacks per deployment (vs. 5 in Blueprints) plus dependency management, versioning, and a more streamlined self-service flow.

    That said, 10 stacks may still fall short if you need the full 15 Ansible playbooks in a single deployment. One option worth considering: consolidating multiple playbooks into fewer stacks by grouping related roles/tasks within a single playbook per stack, rather than running one stack per playbook.

    Thanks for raising this! We’re currently re-evaluating how we approach self-service workflows, which may get us to something much better than blueprints altogether. Because of that, we’re not planning major updates to the current Blueprints model right now.

    Once we decide whether to move forward with the new direction, I’ll make sure to follow up. If we end up not pursuing it, we may revisit enhancements like this :)

    In the meantime, I’ll leave this in ⬆️ Gathering votes so we can gauge broader interest from other customers. Appreciate you sharing the use case!
