Spacelift already has the ability to append the output of runs as a comment on a Pull Request in Bitbucket. We would like the same functionality with Jira Service Manager. We’d like Spacelift to comment on a Jira Service Manager ticket with a link to the tracked run. We use Jira Service Manager to track deployments as they pass through our workflows.

    Hi!

    Thanks for this suggestion, and for the detail on how you're using Jira Service Manager to track deployments through your workflow.

    To give you a straight answer: we don't currently have native support for commenting on Jira Service Manager tickets, and it isn't on our near-term roadmap as a built-in feature.


    The good news is that we recently launched Spacelift Flows, which can solve this for you today and gives you more flexibility than a native integration would. Flows lets you build automations connecting Spacelift to external tools like Jira, so you can set up exactly this workflow.

    We are very interested in this feature as well. Ideally we would like to launch the run via Jira Service Manger.
