OIDC auto-registration for VCS agents

OIDC auto-registration is the preferred approach for deploying resources in Kubernetes and GitOps environments. At present, this mechanism is not available for VCS agents, limiting the ability to adopt a fully automated and secure workflow.

    Hi Brendan,

    Thank you for taking the time to share this feature request with us – we really appreciate the detailed context on your use case.

    After reviewing this internally, we've found that OIDC auto-registration for VCS agents hasn't seen significant demand from our broader user base, so we won't be prioritizing it on our near-term roadmap.

    That said, we do see value in the idea and have earmarked it as a great onboarding project for a new team member when the opportunity arises. This means it may get picked up down the line, though we can't commit to a specific timeline.
