I’d love to be able to write a generic policy that says “Require X approvals from Y Group” and have X and Y be determined by the policy attachment as parameters.

This way spacelift could offer composable sets of policies for easier control.

    Thanks for submitting this. As part of a backlog cleanup, we're closing this request. We haven't seen enough customer interest since it was raised (~11 months ago) to justify prioritizing it now.

    We're keeping the idea on file for future consideration. If you're running into a concrete problem this would solve, please comment or reach out, that helps us re-evaluate priority.
