re-enable provider and module versions

It would be beneficial to have the ability to re-enable a provider version or module version that has been been revoked or marked bad.

Use Cases

  1. Ability to un-revoke provider versions from the provider registry that were revoked.

  2. Ability to delete a revoked provider version from the registry

  3. Ability to unmark module versions as bad.

Scenarios

  1. Provider version was revoked/marked as bad by mistake

  2. Module version was revoked/marked as bad by mistake

  3. Temporarily want to mark/revoke a published version of a provider

  4. Temporarily want to mark/revoke a published version of a module

  5. Want to delete and recreate a module/provider version with the same version number.

    Hi, thanks for the detailed use cases here. We haven't seen much broader interest in this since it was posted, and it's not something we have prioritized right now, so I'm closing this request.

    We're keeping it noted for the future. If un-revoking or restoring versions becomes a recurring need on your end, let us know. Happy to take another look if this becomes more pressing.
