This feature is based around a feature built into Jenkins scheduling. You can use an “H” character in a CRON-style expression to allow random distribution of executions. This makes it MUCH easier to enable drift detection on a large number of stacks without randomizing your own schedules.

    Thanks for raising this Parker. I reviewed a few tickets linked to drift detection and jitter looks like an elegant solution to a relatively common problem. I filed a ticket for the dev team to look into it. Please stay tuned for updates!
