Show terraform/terragrunt plan summary for autodeploy
It would be useful to have the plan summary pills (adds/changes/destroys) at the top of the run even if it the stack is enabled for autodeploy. This saves time when looking to understand what the changes were that were applied during a run

I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same thing but during the “apply“ phase the diff calculated by the plan temporarily disappears only to be replaced by the result of an apply once the run finishes - now showing planned vs deployed changes in one view. Is this what perhaps you’re missing? The visibility of the planned changes during the “applying” stage?
This BTW is completely independent of whether you’re auto-deploying or not but with what happens with auto-deploy is that since the applying phase follows the planning phase immediately, you’re not given a chance to see just the planned changes.

You’re totally correct. What I observe is that while a stack which has auto-deploy enabled and during the apply phase, the diff pills at the top aren’t visible at the top of the page where I’m used to seeing them. They do however appear after the apply has completed. I think it would be nice for those to show after the plan once the diff is known. We’re using terragrunt run-all and have plans which are too big to display in the log without downloading the full log. It’s also a lot easier for us to grok the planned changes by looking at those extracted details versus scrolling a large log file.
