spacectl local preview run keeps running for previous run on ctrl+C

Anytime when a spacectl based local preview spacectl stack local-preview --id <> is run before pushing code to git, and user terminates the run using ctrl+c and rerun local preview then the previous run on spacelift continues to run. User has to manually terminate this. Is it possible, if a new local preview is executed then the previous run can stopped to free up the runner?

Workaround
Manually stop the run
