Support Architect Framework (arc.codes) Deployments

We have a repo using arc.codes which we would like to deploy using spacelift.

arc.codes uses cloudformation to manage its infrastructure.

Thanks for the suggestion. Architect compiles to CloudFormation, so the documented pattern for SAM/CDK/Serverless applies: a custom runner image with the Architect CLI plus hooks that run the synth step, deployed through the CloudFormation vendor: https://docs.spacelift.io/vendors/cloudformation. Marcin’s comment below spells out the exact steps. Given single-digit interest, native support isn’t on the roadmap, so I’m closing this. If you try the pattern and hit a wall, open a support ticket and we’ll help.

This is already doable with Spacelift's existing CloudFormation support + context hooks. **Here's the approach:** 1. **Create a CloudFormation stack** in Spacelift pointing to your arc.codes repo 2. **Add a context hook** that runs before planning: ```bash # Install arc CLI npm install -g @architect/architect # Generate CloudFormation templates arc deploy --dry-run # or whatever generates your CF without deploying ``` 3. **Point the stack** at the generated CloudFormation files **Context hooks** let you run arbitrary scripts before Spacelift processes your infrastructure. So you can generate the CloudFormation that arc.codes creates, then let Spacelift manage the actual deployment. This gives you: - GitOps workflow (changes via PRs) - Policy controls on your arc infrastructure - Drift detection - Full audit trail Would you like specific guidance on setting up the context hook, or are you hitting a particular technical blocker with this approach?
